WORKPLACE WELLBEING

Your business performs at the level your people do.

Bespoke workplace wellbeing programmes that help your team move from running on empty to operating at their best — sustainably, authentically, and for the long term.

Your team is capable, committed, and good at what they do. But somewhere along the way, the pace got unsustainable. People are stretched and tired. Energy is leaking. Sick days are up. Change is constant and pressure is rising. The high performers are quietly burning out — or leaving.

You’ve noticed it. Maybe you’ve tried to address it — team lunches, a wellness app, an early Friday finish. But the underlying pattern hasn’t changed. The problem isn’t the perks. It’s that nobody has taught your people how to thrive under pressure the sustainable way.

That’s where Sophie K comes in.

Why this work matters

Thriving people don’t just feel better — they perform better, communicate better, and stay longer. Investing in your team’s wellbeing at a real, meaningful level isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s one of the highest leverage moves a business can make.

01

Retention improves when people feel supported — not just managed.

High performers choose organisations that invest in their growth and who they are, not just what they produce.

02

Performance deepens and capacity expands when stress is harnessed with clarity and confidence not managed and patched over.

People who understand their own patterns and nervous systems bring more clarity, creativity, and resilience to their work and the environment.

03

Work culture shifts when individuals do the personal work.

A team of self-aware, personally empowered and emotionally intelligent people who know how to thrive under pressure, create a workplace culture that doesn’t need fixing – it thrives without constant managing.

04

Leadership strengthens when the people at all levels are thriving.

The energy and behaviours of a leader ripple through every layer of an organisation — for better or worse.

Sophie K is a Thrive Performance Expert — specialising in helping leaders and teams harness stress, protect their energy, and perform sustainably under pressure.

Through her practical THRIVE model, Sophie gives organisations a clear methodology for turning one of their biggest liabilities — an exhausted, overextended workforce — into one of their greatest assets: people who know how to meet pressure with clarity, confidence, and resilience.

High performance does not require self-abandonment. That’s the idea at the heart of Sophie’s work — and it’s an idea that is increasingly critical for organisations that want to retain good people, sustain results, and build cultures that don’t quietly burn through the humans inside them.

What clients say

I completed one of Sophie’s courses and it’s been an incredible and life changing course thanks to her navigation, knowledge and spirit across the 6 months. I achieved so much personal and professional growth thanks to the clear modules and checkpoints. It helped me to think about myself more deeply including how I respond, where I come from, the way I operate, how my brain works and how to use that to operate in a better way. Thank you Sophie!

It was genuinely great having Sophie with us.

She spoke really well, and the content clearly resonated with the group. I have already heard some great feedback from members who attended. People appreciated how clear and practical her insights were.

The time and effort spent in preparing the session showed. Our members got a lot of value from it and it sparked some really good conversations afterwards.

Thank you for following up after the event. That extra care does not go unnoticed and it means a lot to our community. We would love to have you back again.

FAQ’s

QUESTIONS BUSINESSES ASK BEFORE GETTING STARTED

The practical, commercial, and cultural questions that come up when a business owner or people manager is considering investing in workplace wellbeing with Sophie K.

About the offering

What does a bespoke workplace wellbeing programme include?

Every programme is built around your organisation’s specific needs — there’s no off-the-shelf package. Depending on what’s needed, it can include group workshops and team immersions, individual 1:1 coaching for team members, leadership support, keynote speaking at team events and conference, and access to the 360 Health Package through my expert Wellness Hub. The mix is worked out after an initial discovery consultation, where we get clear on what’s really going on in your organisation and what you want to achieve.

What topics do the workshops cover?

Workshops are tailored to what your team needs most and drawn from my core Thrive Method. Popular topics include decoding stress and the nervous system, healthy boundaries in the workplace, emotional intelligence and communication, energy management and sustainable performance, self-leadership for high-achievers and work-life integration. If there’s a specific challenge or theme your organisation is navigating, the workshop content can be built around that.

Can you speak at our conference or company event?

Yes. I am a Thrive Performance Expert and experienced keynote speaker available for business conferences, leadership events, team days, and corporate retreats.
I speak on three keynote topics:

  • Permission to Perform — How to harness stress, prioritise yourself, and thrive under pressure. For ambitious professionals who are tired of high performance coming at such a high personal cost.
  • Future Challenge Fit — Building the energy and capacity to perform sustainably in a high-pressure world. For leaders and teams navigating change, pace, and uncertainty.
  • The THRIVE Advantage — Turning stress into strength, clarity, and sustainable performance. A practical, tools-focused keynote also available as an interactive workshop.

If any of these topics resonate with what your audience is navigating, get in touch to find out more.

Are sessions delivered online or in person?

Both. Workshops and individual coaching sessions can be delivered in person or online, depending on your team’s location and preferences. For Auckland-based organisations, in-person delivery is available. For distributed or remote teams, online delivery works well and doesn’t compromise the quality of the work.

The Business Case

How do I know if my team actually needs this?

Some signs are obvious — rising sick leave, high turnover, disengagement, burnout in key people. Others are subtler: a team that’s technically performing but running on fumes, communication that’s become transactional, a culture that feels flat despite everyone working hard. If any of that resonates, it’s worth a conversation. The discovery consultation is free and will give you clarity on whether this is the right fit — and what the right intervention looks like for you and your business or organisation.

What’s the return on investment for workplace wellbeing programmes?

Research specific to New Zealand organisations finds up to $5.60 returned for every dollar invested in workplace wellbeing. For proactive, holistic programmes — the kind that address root causes rather than symptoms — that return is even higher.
But honestly, the numbers only tell part of the story. People who feel genuinely looked after at work are far more likely to stay, perform, and bring their best selves to what they do. The cost of doing nothing — in lost performance, disengagement, and replacing good people — is almost always higher than the cost of doing something.

We’ve tried wellness initiatives before and they didn’t stick. Why would this be different?

Many workplace wellness initiatives stay at the surface — a yoga class, a mindfulness app, a fruit bowl in the lunchroom. They address the symptoms without touching the source. My approach goes deeper. It works with the underlying patterns, beliefs, and behaviours that drive stress, disengagement, and burnout — and gives people real tools to change them. It’s also bespoke, which means it’s built for your team’s actual challenges, not a generic framework dropped into your organisation. And because it includes individual coaching alongside group work, the change happens at a personal level — which is where lasting change always starts.

How do you measure the impact of the programme?

Measurement is built into every engagement. We establish what success looks like at the outset — whether that’s team survey scores, absenteeism rates, retention, or qualitative feedback — and track progress throughout and after delivery. Check-in consultations and reflective tools are used to assess impact at each stage, so you always have a clear picture of what’s working and where to go next.

How much does a workplace wellbeing programme cost?

Because every programme is bespoke, pricing depends on the scope, format, duration, and size of the engagement. Pricing is discussed in full during the discovery consultation, once we have a clear picture of what’s needed. What we can say is that these programmes are positioned at the premium end — because the work is thorough, personalised, and genuinely impactful. If budget is a consideration, it’s worth having the conversation — there are entry points at different investment levels.

Practical Questions

How long does a workplace wellbeing programme run?

It depends on the scope of the engagement. A standalone workshop is generally delivered in a half-day. Full day retreats are available. A bespoke programme typically runs over several months to allow for meaningful, sustainable change and entails multiple forms of engagement. As part of the process, we also develop a long-term wellbeing plan with you — because lasting culture change isn’t a one-off event, it’s an ongoing commitment.

Is the 1:1 staff coaching confidential?

Absolutely. Individual coaching sessions are completely confidential. What a team member discusses in their coaching sessions is not shared with their employer. This is fundamental to the trust required for coaching to work — and it’s what allows people to be genuinely honest in the process. Insights into systems, processes or culture changes that may be needed and are repetitive issues arising in sessions (with no individual attribution) will be shared with the organisation for the good of the business, organisation and its people as a whole.

How do we get started?

Book a free discovery consultation. It’s a straightforward conversation about your organisation, your team, and what you’re trying to achieve. From there, we’ll put together a proposal tailored to your needs. There’s no obligation — just clarity on what’s possible and whether it’s the right fit.

Do you work with small businesses or only larger organisations?

Both. We work with businesses of all sizes — from small owner-operated teams to larger organisations. The approach scales to fit. Smaller businesses often find the individual coaching and workshop format works particularly well. Larger organisations tend to benefit from the full bespoke programme with a long-term wellbeing plan that replaces or adds to their current learning and development program. The discovery consultation is the right place to figure out what makes sense for your size and budget.
